Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis to Likely Miss Out on 'Beetlejuice 2' Reboot

In a recent interview, actress Geena Davis revealed that she will not be reprising her role as Barbara Maitland in the highly anticipated 'Beetlejuice 2' sequel. "I'm really sad not to be a part of it," Davis admitted, "but it's in very early development, and it's not clear if they're going to go ahead with it."
Baldwin's Absence Also Likely
Davis also expressed her doubts about Alec Baldwin's involvement in the sequel, who played the title character in the original 1988 film. "I think it would be very hard to do it without Alec," she said. "He's so identified with the role, and he's just so perfect in it."
The absence of both Baldwin and Davis from the 'Beetlejuice 2' cast is sure to disappoint fans of the cult classic. However, Davis remains optimistic about the film's potential, saying, "I'm sure it's going to be great, even if I'm not in it."
