Chuck Norris, Clarence Gilyard Jr. Reunite for New Walker, Texas Ranger Series

The iconic duo will reprise their roles as Cordell Walker and James Trivette in a new reimagining of the classic series.

Get ready for some Lone Star justice with Chuck Norris and Clarence Gilyard Jr. back in the saddle as Walker, Texas Ranger! The beloved stars will reunite for a new series that promises to deliver the same action-packed adventures and heartwarming stories that made the original show a hit.

Walker Texas Ranger is an American action crime television series created by Leslie Greif and Paul Haggis. It was inspired by the film Lone Wolf McQuade (1983), starring Chuck Norris. The series premiered on CBS on April 21, 1993, and ran for nine seasons, ending on May 19, 2001. The series follows the adventures of Cordell Walker (Norris), a widower father of two with his own moral code, and his partner, James Trivette (Gilyard Jr.).

The new series will be a modern-day reimagining of the classic show, with Walker and Trivette still serving as Texas Rangers but facing new challenges in a rapidly changing world. The show will also explore the personal lives of the two characters, as they navigate the complexities of family, friendship, and love.

Norris and Gilyard Jr. are both excited to be back in the saddle as Walker and Trivette. "I'm thrilled to be working with Clarence again," said Norris. "We've always had great chemistry on screen, and I can't wait to see what new adventures we can get into as Walker and Trivette." Gilyard Jr. added, "I'm so grateful for the opportunity to revisit this iconic series. Walker, Texas Ranger is a show that has always had a special place in my heart, and I'm excited to share it with a new generation of fans."

The new Walker, Texas Ranger series is set to premiere in 2023. In the meantime, fans can catch up on the original series on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video.
